Must be my village upbringing, I actually has several friends from back home who have done just that. Like a whole freaking house, with their own hands. Haha, thats insane.
I know a lot of people building reveue teams though.
Anyhow, here is my point, revenue orgs are like houses. 🤣
Imagine building a house. You wouldn’t start with marble countertops or smart home gadgets - right? You’d start with a solid foundation.
Because without a proper foundation, cracks appear. Walls shift. The structure becomes unstable.
Revenue teams are no different.
Yet, so many SaaS companies try to fix pipeline problems by adding more tech or increasing activity. They slap a fancy kitchen tile in a house that’s missing its concrete base.
The reality? 👉🏼 No clear ICP. 👉🏼 Messaging that doesn’t hit. 👉🏼 Sales teams running in circles with low win rates and long deal cycles, because they don't know how to do proper discovery.
So we need a leader to project manage the improvements right? But...
